Apple and Brown Sugar Corned Beef
What You Need:
1 corned beef brisket
1 quart apple juice
1 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp prepared mustard
8 small red potatoes
2 medium carrots, pared and cut into chunks
1 onion, peeled and cut into eights
1/2 head cabbage, cut into chunks
How to Make It:
Combine all ingredients in 6 qt. crock pot and stir to mix. The corned beef can be cut in half if necessary.
Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours on high or 8 to 10 hours on low.
Remove meat, vegetables and the cooking liquid.
Slice meat thinly across the grain.
Serve with the vegetables and some of the liquid.
Tip:
Any left-over corned beef can be used to make deli style sandwiches or in a Reuben Sandwich.

I made this several weeks ago and it was great.
Would certainly make it again.
When you make this do you rinse the beef off? Do you use the seasoning packet that comes with it? I’m never sure about either of those. This recipe looks so good I’d like to try it. Thanks.
this is how i make my corned beef, its the only way i can get it to come out tender, and the family loves the sweetness, i dont use the mustard, i use the seasoning package and add garlic and onions.
