1 to 1.5lbs of minced ground chuck
1 x small onion finley chopped (as small as you can)
1 x Table Spoon tomatoe ketchup
1 x Tablespoon of Soysauce
1/2 Tea Spoon of Worcestershire sauce
1/2 Teaspoon of thyme (fresh is best but dried will do)
Half a Tea Spoon of salt and a touch of freshly ground black pepper
Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl and form patties around half an inch in heaviness. You should get around 4 burger patties from this.
Get your grill prepared on a medium to high heat and bring up to temperature. Gently put on the grill for around 4 mins. one side and 3 minutes the other being careful not to disrupt your patties as you turn them. Check after this time with a skewer in the centre to ensure they are cooked to your liking . To create the best hamburgers in the world you are now going to have to leave the burgers ‘resting’ on a warm shell with some foil covering for about 3 minutes. This will allow the all the best juices to soak back into the meat.
Once 3 minutes have passed (it will seem like 3 days!) serve them up with some crisp salad and home made chips – the worlds best hamburgers are now ready for you to eat !
